Tonight’s Football Tips – 10/05/11

Here are tonights best football (soccer) bets, featuring one tip from the English Premier League and another from Spains La Liga.

The current best price of 1.95 (on offer at William Hill) for Tottenham Hotspur to beat Manchester City looks a really good value bet.

Tottenham arent in the best of form with just one win from their last eight matches, and their bid for the coveted fourth position in the Premier League and therefore Champions League qualification looks to be over.

Tonights opponents Manchester City are already in that fourth position and they will not surrender it lightly. City havent lost at home since December 20th and have kept a clean sheet in 59% of their matches at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Spurs on the other hand, have conceded ten goals in their last five games, failing to beat the likes of Blackpool and West Brom on their own soil and they havent won away since February 12th.

Manchester City vs Tottenham looks like a nailed on home win and William Hills 1.95 about Tottenham could seem particularly generous at the full time whistle.

Another bet we like the look of tonight, is Atletico Madrid to beat Racing Santander in La Liga. This time its Bet365 generously providing us with value, at a best price of 2.20.

Santander may be at home, but we arent too concerned, as they dont have the strongest record on their own patch, having won just 7 of their 17 home ties this year, scoring an average of just 1.29 goals per game.

Atletico Madrid are unbeaten in their last six away matches in La Liga and they will be keen to bounce back from a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to Malaga last time out, in order to preserve their Europa League place and keep alive their slim chance of Champions League qualifying.
