FL Casino Hosts the UFC 132 Fight

This Saturday, July 2nd, UFC 132 – Cruz vs. Faber will be taking place on pay-per-view. Mardi Gras Hollywood Casino will be hosting a viewing of the fight, live!
Dominic Cruz, with a record of 17 wins and 1 loss, will be stepping into the octagon with Urijah Faber. Faber, known as the California Kid, has a record of 25 – 4. Faber is claiming to be the strongest he’s been in his life! With Cruz dominating in takedowns and Faber showing his strength through submissions, it should be an excellent fight that you won’t want to miss.
Mardi Gras Hollywood Casino will be showing UFC 132 in the Dawg House Sports Bar at 9:00 p.m. The Dawg House is Ft Lauderdale’s best sports bar for food, sports and fun. Seating begins at 8:00 p.m. Limited seating is available so make sure you get there early.
Other fights on the schedule for Saturday, July 2nd include Silva (The Axe Murderer) vs. Leben (The Crippler) and Ortiz (The Huntington Beach Bad Boy) vs. Bader (Darth).
The Ultimate Fighting Championship, (UFC) began in 1993 when Rorion Gracie and Arthur Davie joined forces to promote fights between different martial arts styles to determine which style was superior. Early fights were known for their “anything goes” attitude, which included hair pulling and groin shots. In later years, as UFC became recognized as an official sport, rules were added clarifying illegal shots and actions. Still known for the mixed martial arts (MMA) displayed during the exciting fights in the eight-sided ring, UFC is fast-paced and shows incredible variety throughout each fight.
